These etchings are made with three plates and I changed the colors with each print
using also more than one color for each plate. The effect is a so called “iris print”
with different colors merging into each other. Every print is unique! By this way I
was able to create different moods and show the same place in different day times
and seasons. I made these prints between 1983 and 1985. All have the size 3.9 x 5.9
inches and are printed on fine handmade paper (12.6 x 9.1).
